A Low Profile electric cable kit is a simple, sensible way to warm your floors and provide years of lasting comfort. Low profile cables subtly warm from underneath, taking the chill out of hard-surface areas such as bathrooms and kitchens. In-floor Electric Cable is easily sized for any project and it works with a variety of floor coverings, including: ceramic tile, stone, wood, laminates, vinyl, carpet, etc. Installation is easy. First, lay out and attach the strapping to the subfloor. As you weave the electric cable across the floor it easily fastens to the strapping. For a tile or stone installation, lay down a layer of thin-set mortar and then set your tile/stone. For hardwood, laminate, vinyl, or carpet, install a thin layer of self-leveling cement over the cables prior to installing finished floor coverings.
